REDROSE TRAINING

RedRose Training

In this section you will find information related to training on RedRose both for awareness and advocacy as well as skill building for practitioners (staff & volunteers). In assessing the training needs of the NS, it is important to define the intended audience, the learning objectives, and time needed. This section also provides information on planning for training activities and sample training materials that could be modified or contextualized by NS’s based on their needs.

The IFRC has developed a curriculum for Awareness & Advocacy sessions, which could be facilitated by someone with experience in RedRose implementation. The skill building training could be facilitated by RedRose technicians or someone with experience in RedRose. The IFRC and partners are planning to develop a roster of experienced (or highly trained) resources within the Movement that could help facilitate the different types of training. For now, if interested please contact your region’s cash focal point.
